Seeing OCD Through a Different Lens

- Discussion of two theoretical conceptualizations of OCD and what they mean for treatment.
- Introduction to Inference-based CBT (I-CBT) and how trauma fits within its framework.
- Discussion of how EMDR and Parts Work can support evidence-based OCD treatment.

Bronwyn is a LCSW who owns a private practice focusing on providing evidence-based treatment to those with OCD and PTSD. Bronwyn believes that therapists should always keep learning. This is why she spends a lot of time reading up on emerging treatments, sitting in consultation/training with experts, and learning from her fellow therapists.
Sandtray, EMDR, and the AIP Model

What You’ll Learn:
- Learn to incorporate the sand tray within your work and be flexible and intuitive within your use of the standard EMDR protocol through the sandtray
- Feel empowered to adapt the protocol in the sand tray to work with your client’s nervous systems where they are at and physicalize the eight phases.
- Course will be applicable to clients of all ages with particular emphasis on children and adolescents
