We are all feeling the weight of the collective grief, loss, and trauma that the past two years have brought us. And it is heavy. Not only have we been carrying this weight for ourselves in the isolation of our homes but also for our clients—day in and day out.
We are needing collective healing and hope.
Our caseloads are full. Our waitlists are long. Our breaks are fewer. We’re depleted and exhausted. We’ve been feeling less effective and able to make a difference. It seems the work is unending amidst compounding suffering, loss, and trauma. We’ve been ignoring or suppressing it as a means of survival—but we’re breaking down.
