    A takeaway from the EMDR refresher course was the importance of trusting the process and fidelity to the 8 phases.

    I think this was a very important detail that so many tend to doubt and this is an excellent point for new people as wrll

    I appreciated hearing that it is okay to linger for several months in the preparation phase. I think my own anxiety about doing good work gets in the way of my client’s process at times, or I give up and assume since their window of tolerance is so low that we should go back to talk therapy.
